I will be brief. Mainly because I'm really tired and my face is in desperate need of a date with a Neutrogena makeup wipe. And also because this has been quite a tiring Tuesday. An overwhelming Tuesday. Yes, overwhelming.
Instead of griping and telling you about how tiring today was, I would just like to say that lots of cookies and saying prayers out loud on your way to the Testing Center always helps. ALWAYS.
When you can't get caught up on homework and you are developing a cold, go to Family Home Evening and eat loads of dessert.
When you wake up late for class and you can't help but think that you have to go home and do loads of homework, eat more cookies.
When you have no food and are starving...well almost anyway...go to the grocery store and get delicious food even if it burns a hole in your wallet.
When you are walking to the testing center about to take one of your harder tests, say a prayer out loud and just get a bit quieter when people walk by. Maybe they will think you're crazy, or maybe they will understand the hurting brain...and heart of a college student who is ready to give up and just needs a little help.
Then when you're done, go eat more cookies. Go pray some more. Listen to a bunch of 80's remixes of modern songs and be happy. Be content.
Repeat often.
This is great. I would just add some more ice-cream. Other than that, it sounds like you're doing everything right! Keep on keepin on. (:
ReplyDeleteI couldn't agree more. Ice cream is always good! :)
