1 // I would be totally and completely ungrateful if I didn't say the biggest, gushiest and heart-juiciest thank you to the best favorites this week...YOU GUYS! My friends! Thank you for loving me even when I'm down. Thank you for the encouraging texts and messages and comments. My heart is full! I have that "my heart is going to burst out of my chest and melt into a puddle of love juice on the floor" feeling. God gives us friends because of moments like these. Just know, you are never alone. I know that. I get reminded of that every day. There is someone there who may not be going through EXACTLY what you're going through, but they are willing to feel for you and feel with you. Isn't that something? Feeling with something. That's empathy, right there. So thank you, friends. I love you. I really do. Thank you for feeling with me. 

2 // One of my freshman roommates, Meghan, is getting married and the other day she asked for some planning advice from me and my two other roommates. I got all the wedding feels. Here are 12 unforgettable wedding moments.

Though poppies were an odd choice, her dress was a work of art and I dig stuff like that. Also, Fan Bingbing. That. is. all.

Friday Favorites // Productivity

Hey all. I have a professor who starts every email to the class with "Hey all," it makes me cringe. Hey all? How about HEY EVERYBODY OR HI ALL YOU COOL CATS OR HEY SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS.

And those above sentences are why I will never make it far in the professional world.

Anyway, I was productive this Friday. I did homework at school and the only reason I stopped was for work and to write this, of course. I'm pretty darn proud of myself. Happy of myself. All of the above. This weekend, I plan on eating at a sit down restaurant. I plan on going to the museum and I plan on taking pictures of myself in clothes, because I'm into trying new things. Happy weekend everybody! What are you doing? We're studying for an exam. Oh well. That's life. That's college life. There we go. I'm trying not to complain. Positivity is key, everyone. Oh hey friends, what are you doing this weekend? Tyler and I plan on staying in to do lots of homework and eat lots of pizza. That's usually the plan, but we always end up going out somewhere and hanging out with someone. In other news, I'm getting a lob. Yes. A lob. Look it up and have the best weekend.

Friday Favorites // Long time no see

No but really. How long has it been since I've done a Favorites post? Yeah. Too long. Just a mini update before I get to the beautiful and entertaining things from the internet. Tyler's surgery went well. My mom was in town. She's the ultimate favorite of the week. She left this morning and I bawled my eyes out. Boy, I love her. But I love Tyler too and I can handle this. I can do it. This morning was no good though. He was in so much pain. Poor thing. I said on Twitter: "You don't know what helplessness is until you see your husband in excruciating pain and you can't do anything to help him." Or something like that. We're okay though. We keep on keeping on.

1 // Not a link, but get this. This morning I had an appointment set up at the DMV because they never sent me my updated license. Boo on them right? Well I made it so I would leave early and get there early. Maybe just maybe they would take me in early. My mom said I shouldn't push it, but I'm so glad I did. I was in and out in 5 MINUTES! Boo-yah. That's all. Just boo-yah. Christmas miracle, I tell you.

It's time to be more lovely...

I think we should go back to the basics. I'm a big user of social media like pinterest and instagram...and I've fallen victim to comparing my life to the beautiful people I see. Like the girl that got over 200 likes on her bridal shower announcement or engagement photo. But that's not okay. Guys, that's just a waste of energy and emotion. Now it's time to become ourselves. To become our own. To become more lovely. To return to our original state. To return to the dream self we want to become. Because becoming better and trying to reach all your goals is never wrong. Love your life. And who you are. Here are some favorites that can help us feel a little bit more lovely.

1. You can make your life, love, and happiness grand.

11. Get a tumblr and actually learn how to use it. It's not hard and it is a wonderful way to express yourself!
