Anyone else obsessed with "Rather Be" by Clean Bandit like I am?

Update: I have a job interview tomorrow. It's at a clothing store. Wish me luck!

Here are some things that inspire me...

1 // Brows are such a personal thing. Recently I was griping about my eyebrows while filling them in. I kept thinking to myself that I had to get them waxed or do something with them, and then I realized there was a reason why I hadn't already done that. It's because I don't want to. I like my eyebrows the crazy way they are. Lots of fluffs and some rouge ones here and there, but so what! 

2 // Two sizes too big, please!

3 // Ah the floral and feminine dress...I'm a sucker for these. 

4 // Like I said, two sizes too big, please!

5 // Although it's not very practical or comfortable to have glitter thrown in your face, it's a nice touch if you want to feel extra fancy with your glitter clutch. 

6 // Because I desperately want an eyelash boob shirt.

It's raining right now. And I love it. Forgive me for the lack of links. I do not own any of these images. I found them all on Pinterest. 

1 // This time of year has always brought me anxiety and I would be lying if I said that hasn't changed. But amidst the anxiety and uneasiness about the future, I know that there are beautiful things on the horizon. I know that things are going to work out for me. Don't stop believing in yourself, because so many beautiful things are on the horizon.

2 // Are you a wildflower? Yes! I like to think I am. If I could be any flower, it would be a wild one.

Inspired // Lovely bits

1 // I am always trying to be kinder. Sometimes I find myself making some snarky remark about something expecting a laugh or two or the sweetest satisfaction, but that's the thing about unkind words. You never get the sincere laugh, only the nervous, do-i-have-to-agree-with-you ones or the pit in your stomach feel that leaves you feeling as unsatisfied as ever. So be kind.

2 // I love the idea of a graphic hoodie, a long jersey skirt with with a long woolen coat. It just screams relaxed yet stylish street apparel.

3 // Muppet jackets were one of those things that I thought would have a long dark fall into trend oblivion, but they keep coming back, and if they keep coming back in black...then I just might have to find a cheap buy at Forever 21 or H&M.

4 // An all black look with a fresh and beautiful haircut. That seems really nice right now.

5 // Layers. I love all of them. The best part about it is the woman wearing the outfit. She's from Milan, and she is glowing with grace and her smile exudes the warmth she's probably feeling from being so bundled up.

6 // Instead of complaining, show up. People will admire you for it and the sympathy will follow.

7 // A beautiful wardrobe capsule that I want to imitate. Only 25 pieces. Yeesh! I am really thinking about doing this...I wouldn't be able to narrow it down to 25 pieces with church and all but my every day wear could definitely be slimmed down. Fashion goals! *sigh*

8 // The perfect makeup look for any occasion. Really though, berry wine lips are so good. Golden eyes? Classic.

9 // Me in a dream.

10 // A great, every day outfit easy to replicate. Scarves like that are $2.50 at H&M and surprisingly good quality.

Monday Musing // The Swoons

Nope the swoons aren't something that you get when you have the flu. I know gross. Why did I even say that?

Here's my definition of the swoons.

That feeling of euphoria and incandescent happiness you get when you see or hear something that speaks to your inner most heart and soul.

Let's swoon.

1 // I have been researching ways to decorate our very small space this Christmas. I mean we barely have room for our mini tree. Honestly, I just need to make the time, but when I saw this sweet and simple wall it didn't seem like a challenge.

2 // I LOVE this chair. I can't stop thinking about it when I think of our future home. I also love the graphic wall in the back.

3 // Stylish Sorel Boots? Yes, please because let's get real...you don't want to wear your leather boots that will completely soak through in the winter.

4 // Instead of brown paper packages, go with green paper packages tied up with fancy yarn and candy cane string. So festive and fresh.

5 // Smashed potatoes. Mmmmm.

6 // This quote. It literally left me speechless the first time I read it on Tumblr.

7 // I can't get over these boots. I also can't get over how they cost more than $400. Yikes.

8 // Because a plaid scarf is almost necessary.

9 // Agh a literal long sweater dress. *swoooooooooon*

10 // This is evil. Oreo butter? Oh yes. A thousand times yes.

11 // Big scarves are so swoon worthy, but big royal blue scarves with fuzzy grey sweaters, ULTRA swoon worthy.

Terrific Tuesday // #PinsMyMomSendsMe

My mom is a gem. She's a gem for a countless number of reasons. She's a bomb cook. She's so in shape it puts all the other in shape people to shame. 

She is kind. She is giving. She is a perfect listener. She is practically perfect in every way.

Oh and she sends me pins. Like a lot. She sends me one probably every single day. Multiple times a day. And I love it. Some are style pins. Most of them are. They are all spot on. Totes spot on. Lately, she has been sending me quote pins, and she sent me this one today. 

Today I was feeling pretty stressed, lethargic, and unmotivated. I was comparing myself to people. I was getting myself down, and then the email notification that she sent me a pin popped up in my inbox and I was instantly refreshed and comforted by my mom and this pin. 

Can I get an amen, preach, and hallelujah? Say no to that unnecessary crazy, people. It's not even worth it. The crazy in our head, in our life, at work, at night, at lunch, at whatever. Just say no to it! 

Be gone unnecessary crazy. Hello, necessary crazy!

Monday Musing // Some pins.

Because honestly, all I've thought about today is the haircut I'm getting tomorrow and packing for Disneyland. So here you go. Pins I like. Who could every ask for more?
