Sweatshirt Crazy

Thursday, November 21, 2013

Really though. I need to stop.

1 // You really can't beat a cream colored sweatshirt for Thanksgiving dinners, winter parties and gatherings and Christmas mornings.
2 // And you definitely can't beat gray. The detailing. It's rad as rad can be. And pretty. You can beat pretty and rad all in one.
3 // Guys. this dress is super flattering, super comfortable, but super expensive. It's gold. Like the perfect mix of classy casual. With opaque tights and booties..you're good to go.
Happy wishing.
Stay gold.

Wishlist Wednesday: Last Minute Wishes

Wednesday, December 19, 2012

Are you ready for some holiday // Christmas cheer!? I sure am, so here are some last minute gift ideas if you are scrambling for presents. (Which you shouldn't be, relax, take a break, grab some hot cocoa, cozy up to the fire, and calmly read this short but sweet post.)

First, I'd like to say that the stores and companies that I mention in my post never sponsor me. These are all my personal opinions and my personal style taste. If I was getting paid...you'd see a little sponsor thing on the side. Just saying.

This year, I wanted to get my brother a whole outfit. I had the money set aside, and I really wanted to treat him, especially because he is trying to discover his personal style. So I thought, hey if you have someone really special in your life and they are a fashion lover, get them a whole outfit. College Fashion is really helpful for putting together such outfits. So check them out! I don't have a whole outfit put together but I have a little pinspiration that I know I would enjoy finding under the tree.

A chunky infinity scarf, wool trench, polka dot chambray, coated jeans, and smoker slippers make for the perfect present. Photo Courtesy

For the Sweater and Sparkle Lovers

J.Crew Factory is having a huge sale and it was announced this morning. Naturally, I checked out the website and picked these two sweaters and must-haves. Unfortunately, everyone thought the same thing and they are both sold out. My deepest apologies. Hopefully they will provide some inspiration.

For the Chambray and Leopard Lovers

Chambray and leopard are always in season. Unfortunately, AGAIN, they are sold out of the stone blue chambray. Have no fear though, you can find your lifetime supply of denim // chambray shirts here.

For the Accessory Lovers

The pearl earrings and necklace are in Neverland now. (I've been watching too much Once Upon a Time)

And for the Pom Pom Hat Lovers like me...

I saw Natalie wearing this on Instagram...and I almost fainted. I want this so badly. The price slays me though... oh well. That's why it's called a WISHlist.

Do you have to do some last minute shopping? I know we do at this house. Just remember to keep the Christmas cheer alive. No one likes a grumpy gills.

P.S. Did anyone else watch Gossip Girl? What did you think of the finale? I cried. I love that show...please don't go. Oh and also, three episodes before the finale I knew who Gossip Girl was and I felt awesome when I was right.

Anyway, until tomorrow, Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, stay golden!

Wishlist Wednesday: Christmas Shoes

Wednesday, December 5, 2012

I really do not like the Christmas Shoes song. I find it manipulative and down right the cheesiest thing on the entire planet. Call me heartless...but you shouldn't cause everyone to weep on Christmas Eve. Mama is going to meet Jesus, and she really doesn't need shoes,  because frankly, Jesus is going to love her, shoes or no shoes. That's all.

So now that I have stepped off of my soap box, I would like to step into these shoes this Christmas season.

1
I'll have a pair in every color.

2
They are not selling the nude ones anymore, but the black ones are just as cute.

3
I think these might be waiting for me under the tree this year.

What shoes have you had your eyes on? Is a nice pair of kicks on your Christmas list this year? What shoes remind you of the holidays? A classic flat? Smoking slipper? Sparkly high heel, or a classic black pump? Comment below, link pictures, let me know.

Oh...and P.S. What are your thoughts on the Christmas Shoes song?

Wishlist Wednesday: Black Friday Picks

Thursday, November 29, 2012

Sorry this is late. I had a wonderful evening which will be spoken of later. While Black Friday Shopping, I only picked up one thing that I really needed, but while I was shopping I picked some things that might help you with your gift shopping this year...and it so happens to be my Christmas Wishlist...the not so grown up kind.

1. AE Heritage Fleece Hoodie

1
I tried this on during Black Friday and it is probably the softest and most comfortable hoodie I have ever worn. Unfortunately, it wasn't on the best sale possible so I didn't get it. Seriously though, it has a sweater hood and the warmest fleece inside. If you are in the market for a new hoodie, add this to your Christmas list.

2.  Oxblood Coated Jeggings

2
I have this obsession for the oxblood trend right now. I didn't intend to go in, try these on, and fall in love, but I did. I tried them on with the hoodie and it was a match made in heaven. I love it when outfits come together like that. For being coated jeggings, they are incredibly comfortable, and they are a pretty normal color if you compare it to the neon jean trend. You could wear these for ages. Well not really..but you know what I mean.

3.  Karinska Tulle Skirt

3
The most perfect and beautiful tulle skirt I have seen in stores. It truly is lovely. Wear it on New Year's. Wear it on Valentine's Day. Or wear it just for fun.

4.

This dress has "Dani" written all over it. Especially the way they styled it in the second picture. I wouldn't mind this dress in Snapdragon either. Isn't Kate Spade delightful?

5. These Coats, 1, 2, and 3.

I am in love with the leather sleeve trend, so naturally, I found an affordable anorak for those wanting to spend a little more on a coat.

The second coat looks much better in navy blue. Taylor Swift inspired...don't you think?

I tried on the third coat in a camel color and it was very beautiful. The hardware really makes this coat.

6.  Heather Leather Watch in Sand from Fossil
5
A simple, yet stylish watch for those that want something special on their wrist this holiday season. Also, the price is way better than a $250 Michael Kors...sigh. Still wishin' for this one.

What did you find on Black Friday? Did you buy anything, or was it just a look and see kind of trip? What's on your not so grown up Christmas List this year?
