Snapshots of a wonderful weekend. Yeah I meant to say wonderful and weekend together.

Hello Monday, it's been so long. Not really, but I'm trying to butter you up so you don't treat me badly, because our relationship is like that sometimes. But really, hello. I hope you had a fun time hiding away this weekend, now you get the chance to show your face and I get to brag to you about how fan-freaking-wonderful my weekend was.

Saturday started out like any other Saturday. First, I woke up at like 6:30 because I thought that I had to be in class, but it was one of those beautiful moments where you realize...oh my gosh. It's Saturday. I don't have school. I don't have homework to do. I don't have anything. I can sleep a little bit longer. I can go for a 3 mile run, I can watch the marathon runners and feel the lump rising in my throat because I'm so proud of those people. I can eat waffles with my roommate and my boyfriend. I can go eat lunch with my parents and brother. I don't have to worry about anything. It's wonderful! OH and I almost forgot to mention that I could go to J.Crew Factory and Banana Republic and not feel bad for getting the best deals ever because I have a solid job that I love. Saturday was a beautiful day for appreciation and realization.

Also, on Saturday I got to spend a breezy evening with Drew, Tyler, Mak, and Megan. Afterwards, Tyler and I took our friends truck. Rode up to some church by a mountain and watched Fantastic Mr. Fox under the stars. Does it sound cheesy? Oh yeah. But was it so great? Yes. Thank you Mr. Anderson for making exceptional movies and thank you Roald Dahl for writing a masterpiece of children's literature. And thank you Tyler for making my day just a bit brighter.

Then Sunday, oh Sunday was magical. First, 9:00 church. It hurts when you stay up way to late the previous night, but it's a lovely thing and it starts the day off the way to should be. To make this long story short. Every meeting was great. The talks and musical numbers were beautiful. Emilee gave a killer lesson, and Relief Society was so good. SO GOOD. Oh and sheet cake and Bang! Yeah. Did I say it was magical?

I hope you all had a great weekend. Feel free to tell me about it. What did you do? Who did you spend time with? Did you hear any good songs? Eat some great food? Comment below and remember, always remember, to stay gold.

Miss Megan, Mak, and Me trying to get a good picture of our shorts.
Have I mentioned before that we struggle getting a great picture the first time?
Stop laughing, Dani. Stop laughing.
There we go. Matching shorts, cuties.

for-get-me-nots:

Fantastic Mr. Fox

Tyler and I gasped when we saw this part. It’s perfectly lovely.
One of the most beautiful scenes in FMF. Isn't it absolutely lovely? Tyler and I loved it. So so much.
Because taking pictures during The Hunger Games is totally a great thing to do. Even when you can’t see our faces.
I forgot to mention that Hunger Games made it to the weekend line up. Tyler and I sat in the back of the living room and we analyzed the movie and took in the summer breeze coming through the door because it was blazing. Oh and we took pictures in the dark because we're that kind of couple.
The Bang! group minus Mak.
Here's to a successful weekend! What a beautiful creature.

  1. FMF=THE BIGGEST HOOT. I love it. Especially the wolf part. Oh my. Such beautiful animation. Sigh.

P.S., I know I, like, NEVER comment anymore. I promise I have read all the posts you have ever made. You are my SUNSHINE! I think i mostly haven't commented because I was a little broken and afraid to share my feelings after being hurt by someone you and I have chatted about before. ...Anyway. Trying to make up for lost time because I am healing quite nicely. I think it has been really good for me to be out of Provo. Okay. That is all. :)
