Playlist Thursday // Late Night Listens

Sunday, July 13, 2014

Late night everything.

My sister has been in town and that is why I haven't written.

Oh well.

Here's a playlist.

1 // Stay Alive by Jose Gonzalez

Seriously need Walty Mitty right now.

2 // All Coming Back to Me Now by Celine Dion

This is on like 5 times a day at my house. It just is.

3 // When I Fall in Love by Sam Cooke

4 // Human Nature by Michael Jackson

5 // Tenerife Sea by Ed Sheeran

Probably the most beautiful thing my ears have ever heard.

6 // Venus by Sleeping at Last

7 // True Colors by Jules Larson

8 // Jolene by Ray Lamontagne

How many times has this been on a playlist? Sorry not sorry.

9 // Let It Be Me by Ray Lamontagne

You might also be aware that this is late. (I am posting this at 10:00 PM on Sunday...yes, I know...)

Oh well, again. I hope you enjoyed.

Ray Lamontagne combined with Rainymood. Oh it's perfect. Makes me wish a little for the Fall. He is coming to Utah this Summer, to Red Butte Gardens, and of course the tickets are sold out. Oh well. Enjoy my favorite song by him in this playlist.

" I found myself face down in the ditch, booze in my hair and blood on my lips. A picture of you holding a picture of me in the pocket of my blue jeans. Still don't know what love means...Jolene."

Guys. The saxophone. M83 is so good. Also...so was Divergent. Cheesy but so good. So cheesy.

"What's wrong with you is good for what's wrong with me, and I think maybe we should stick together."

"When I give my heart...it will be completely. And the moment I can feel that, you feel that way too. Yes, when I give my heart to you."

"Call it magic. Call it true. Call it magic when I'm with you. And I just got broken...broken in two. Still call it magic when I'm next to you."

"I ain't living in the dark no more; it's not a promise I'm just gonna call it."

p h o t o

Oh my friends, it has been too long. I promise I would have written more if I hadn't been busy running thousands of errands and finding new church clothes. Oh and my internet has been the pits. You know how it is. Well, at work, we are allowed to listen to music during our office hours and let me tell you, I have discovered some beauties. Enjoy!

1 // Midnight by Coldplay

I really love the sound of this song. It is absolutely beautiful. Plus, I thought it was Bon Iver. Don't get me wrong, I love Coldplay's original sound, but this also works for them.

2 //  Gotta Get Away by The Black Keys

Catchy with great lyrics. Who could ask for more? Dan Auerbach, people.

3 // Wildest Moments- Acoustic by Jessie Ware

4 // Gimme Sympathy- Acoustic by Metric

One of my favorite songs, ever. The original version is perfect and this one is even better. It's ALL good.

5 // Jolene by Ray LaMontagne

"Still don't know what love means, Jolene."
