Update: Life Lately in Instagrams

*I apologize for the formatting and placement of the pictures.* 
Get ready for a whole lot of Instagrams, Dani's Life Style.

I thought I would provide a little update, since I haven't posted many photos in awhile. Enjoy!



 




1. After a bloody nose, jean stains, a trip to 5 European countries, and a festival of colors, it was time to get a new bag. So I got the Fossil satchel shown above, only in mustard yellow, because it seems that I can't resist anything mustard yellow. Did I mention it's leather? Yeah, I felt fancy. I upgraded from canvas my whole existence to leather. Let's have a round of applause for Dani making grown up decisions.

2. Speaking of becoming a grown up, I can make my own clothes now. Well sort of. I can make oxblood colored pleated skirts...and I can get A's on them. I conquered sewing since the last time I uploaded pictures. Please don't ask me to make you one. It really will cause me a lot of anxiety.

3. I saw a guy giving an intense back massage. I really wanted to ask him to stop because it seriously go uncomfortable, and frankly I was trying to feel the spirit. And he was getting a little TOO intimate.

4. I went to Temple Square with the most beautiful girls I know. What a beautiful way to kick off the Christmas season.

5 and 6. And while we were there, I dreamed of owning everything in the Anthropologie window, and I treated myself to the best red velvet cheesecake on the planet. Thank you City Creek and thank you Cheesecake Factory.

7. I had plenty of study parties.

8. And I ate some more, with more beautiful people. Great food and great company make for a great time. The creamery has the best chicken strips and cracked pepper fries. Oh and let's not forget their German Chocolate Crunch and Peanut Butter Trails ice cream. Oh man, I would drive an hour and a half to get some right now.

9. So then...I got some pizza, but it wasn't just any old pizza. It was the best pizza on the planet people. The best. Okay so I am pretty sure there is better pizza in this world, but SLAB pizza takes the cake on a Rosemary Potato Bacon Pizza, and a Thai Chicken Pizza. The pieces are huge and you can split them with a friend or awesome sibling. I chose the sibling.

10. Finals week came and I spent a lot of my time in the library. I studied like there was no tomorrow. There is a certain hunger that you have for home and mine was insatiable. (Look at me using big words...what a college student.)

11. A letter from my Valley Boy missionary came, and I was the happiest girl that day. Some days I miss Jarett more than anything but I know he is serving the Lord and that is where I want him to be. Oh Elder Iverson, you are the greatest.

12. Then I finally got home. I finished my exams and my first night home I went and looked at lights with my Daddy-O.

13. I also came home to the most festive and Christmasey house. It was like my mom became Buddy the Elf when she was decorating.

14. Well it is considerably colder up north, and my fall jacket wasn't doing it's job. So I went coat shopping. I haven't found the one yet. But the two in the picture are definitely on my list. I guess I'll let Santa choose.

16. I found the outfit of my future husband...on a mannequin...and I really wished it was real.

17. I almost got a really great chambray shirt. It's a shame when things don't fit right and aren't flattering. Tsk. Tsk.

Life Lately...In Instagrams OF COURSE!

I'm sorry I was absent Thursday and Friday. Life gets crazy. You know how it is? Here are some snapshots of my crazy life.

1. It's cardigan and button up shirt weather. If I could wear that chambray shirt every day, I would.

2. The remnants of BYU blue pancakes. Oh how delicious. Plus, if you sang the school fight song verbatim, they gave you a first in line spot. Of course, I took the challenge and scored.

3. Raspberry cheesecake shakes and french fries. Thank you JCW's. I shall say it now, and say it again and again. JCW's is far better than Sammy's and IN-N-OUT combined. Not kidding. That's all.

4. The little turkey I got to make for the last day of my teaching class! What a treat. No more 8 hour days and cold classrooms.

5. Crazy weather makes for a beautiful rainbow...a double rainbow in fact.

6. Project Uplift service social with brothers, roommate, and former roommate. We decorate boxes like true professionals.

7. We study at the library too. Especially when the internet is being a brat.

8. That moment when you discover your sister is way more stylish than you will ever be.

9. One word. LUNCHABLES.

10. Another word. PEETA!

11. I have decided that I always take remnant pictures of my pancakes. These were pancakes too. They were orange this time.

12. After pancakes, you have to go party with your Asian brothers. It is only fitting.

13. Speaking of leaving, missionary letters from your best missionary friend. Elder Woodzzz, I sure do love you. You have brought a lot of giggles to my belly.

14. Currently obsessed with these two candles. Nutmeg and Spice and French Baguette. I wish you could smell them through the computer screen. They are...unbelievable. Bath and Body Works, NEVER get rid of French Baguette. It is my favorite.

15. Found this on a Sunday Evening walk. No good I say, no good.

Friday Favorites: Cheerio!

1. Peanut Butter Cheerios

Multigrain Peanut Butter Cheerios...um YUM!

They taste even better in smiling cup.

2. Bon Iver: Live at Radio City Music Hall
Oh how I wish I could share the concert with you, but unfortunately, the concert was only available for public viewing for two days. Such a shame. I sure hope they put it on iTunes or something. I will buy that concert in a heartbeat. It was the best performance I have ever seen by Bon Iver. Justin was spot on with his vocals. The set list was magnificent. It was perfect. I cried a lot. Favorite songs: Holocene and on ward. Everything after Holocene brought tears to my eyes. You should have seen me during Beth/Rest and the encore. When he started singing For Emma...I lost it for the rest of the night.

3. Beth/Rest
I have mentioned this a million times before, but this is my favorite Bon Iver song, and it could possibly be my favorite song of all time. 

I may have listened to it over 50 times this week.

4. Soccer games with my two favorite Asian baby brothers

Quite possibly one of the best keepers ever.

Aaron is my favorite.

5. Happy birthday to the prettiest and most golden girl I know. My sister!
I can't believe she's sixteen. Oh I love her so much.

6. Fried Mac and Cheese

Probably one of the most decadent dishes I have ever had. Props to my Foodie Photo!

7. Matt & Kim
I am late to jump on the Matt & Kim bandwagon, but I'm sure glad I did. Heck I like them so much, I'm going to their concert in November.

8. The loving words of friends and family!
This week was horribly rough and awfully long, but texts and calls and messages from the beautiful people in my life made it worth the struggle. 

9. My very special and wonderful followers.
Although I don't have many, I sure am grateful for the people that follow me on Instagram, Pinterest, Tumblr, and this blog. You are all a blessing to me. I am so grateful for the kind things you have said and for the fact that you still read and look at my stuff even if I slack or post strange things. Youda youda best.

11. Comfy Hoodies
Aeropostale is having a hoodie sale. I don't usually wear hoodies with logos on them, but they have some really cute ones without the Aero logo. They are around 10-16 dollars. I got a really cute one for 12 dollars. Jump on that pretty ladies!

12. Dairy Queen Blizzards
I didn't even get a picture of mine, but it was the perfect blizzard, the only problem was how cold the Dairy Queen was. I sure do love Dairy Queen. 

13. Retail Therapy
This explains the 12 dollar hoodie and the yummy smelling candles. 

14. Spotify Playlists
I have some pretty awesome playlists on Spotify if I do say so myself. They have all helped me survive homework and a crappy week.
